Lucy's Blessing and BYU

On Sunday, July 29th, we went down to Provo to see Brian and Dana bless their newest family member, Lucy Grace Nye.  She's such a cutie!!!  All the kids just love her to death.

Then before we left our family and Brandy and the boys decided to stop by BYU and walk around the football stadium.  The kids had so much fun and they found a big hill that they ended up having rolling races down.

Ogden Rodeo Fun

On July 23rd we went to the Ogden Rodeo...YEE-HAW!!!  It was so much fun.  My favorite part is the very beginning when they parachute in with the flag.  Then all the rest I forgot to take pictures of like the Mutton Bustin' and the bull riding.  But there was this part where this one-armed man was trying to get two buffalo up on top of a trailer.  Unfortunately he only got one up there by himself and then recruited the help of the motorcyclists to get the stubborn one up there.  Then the motorcyclists did their part at the very end.  I didn't want to hang around because by this time it was already past 10:00 p.m. and the kids were tired and cranky but Curt wanted to see it...shocker!!!  But I'm glad we stayed because I will admit that it was AWESOME!!!  They jumped over this gap in between two ramps and did tricks and one even did a Superman where they lay out behind the back of the bike and then pull themselves back on it before they land.  Then at the very end they did a back flip.  I will admit that it was fun to see.

Parades and Clinton Days

This year with Shelby was in three parades; the Syracuse parade for the play that she's in and...

West Point and Clinton's for being a student body officer for school.  These pictures are from the Clinton Parade with all the kids.

Austin was so excited to get some candy!

Ironman, Spiderman and even Captain America showed up for this one!

Here is Shelby riding on their float spraying everyone with water.  She was absolutely soaked by the time we picked her up.  Apparently she and our neighbor (he's a 7th grade officer) got into a water fight and Tyler lost but it looked like he got in some good shots at her, too.

Carson Plays Ball!

This summer Carson was the only one to play baseball.  He really enjoyed it although at first he was a little nervous because this year they started playing with the pitching machine but still t-ball rules.  He did really well hitting off the machine. 

Good job buddy!!!

Shelby's Recital

July 7th was Shelby's piano recital.  She did a great job as always!  She amazes me how good she is getting and although piano is NOT her favorite thing to do she does it and she does like to come up with songs that she hears on the radio or on movies. 

Way to go!!!
