Many Faces of Curt!

So for those of us who TRULY know Curt we know that he has many different sides but I doubt any of us have seen these sides.  This is one of those apps from Troy's phone to make Curt look like Santa but with a twist.  I think it's Santa's mug shot.  What do you think?

 

This one has a story behind it.  So each year my friends and I have usually have a couples Christmas party where we bring white elephants.  This year my friend Jodi brought this wig that she had bought for I think a Napolean Dynamite costume.  Curt just happened to end up with it.  Each time he put it on we had tears streaming down our faces because it just seemed to "fit".  Then Patrick, Jami's husband" used his moustache app and this is the end product.  Jami said that he looked like a "creeper".  I tend to agree but it's still very funny!  This one is classic in that ring of friends and still gets talked about.  Thanks babe for all the memories!

 

Christmas 2012

So Christmas 2012...what else is there to say?  We got spoiled again!  We are so grateful for all the things that we have been blessed with but especially for family, friends and the knowledge of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ.  Eveythign else is secondary.

Carson gets his Wolf!

In order to get his first Scout badge Carson had to finish all the requirements for his Wolf before his birthday and he did it!!!  So December 19th was the pack meeting where he received it.  We got to paint his face which was fun in itself and he quite enjoyed that but then after for the activity the kids got to make a sled out of candy and race them.  Even Austin got to make one which he was ecstatic about!  It was a fun night for both boys.  Congratulations Carson!

 

 

Curt's & Kirsten's Birthdays

So for our birthdays this year we decided that since our birthdays are so close that we would celebrate together and go down to Salt Lake to P.F. Chang's restaurant (super yummy) and then to City Creek, the new shopping center that the Church built.  Neither one of us had been there so we thought that would be a great idea.  But before we did that Curt's parents took us to dinner at Texas Roadhouse and they make you sit on a saddle as they sing happy birthday to you.  Here are our WONDERFUL pictures of that experience.  I think Curt had a great time, don't you think?

Since we were going to Salt Lake for dinner I wanted the kids to be a part of Curt's birthday, too.  So we made him crepes for breakfast.  Then we gave him his presents.

 

This is his big present...it's an R/C car that he picked out himself.  I'm such a great wife!!!

 

Curt the Elf

For Lifetime's Christmas party they had a contest of dressing an elf.  Curt was selected to the be the "elf".  He's kind of a big elf.  Too bad he didn't win the contest but I still think he looks pretty good!

 

Ogden's Christmas Village

Every year Ogden City decorates the park by the Justice Building with all these little houses that different auxiliaries and businesses decorate for Christmas.  So on December 7th we went there with our neighbors and friends, the Horton's.  It was so cold out there but we had a great time.  The kids even got to ride a little train.  However when the Mikayla and Micah Horton got to ride it the train broke down inside the tunnel.  It was not scary but a little disappointing for them.  It was a great time but we were happy to get home to some hot chocolate!
