Okay...so this is a little late but I wanted to show some picture of when we went to see the new fire station. Clinton just built a brand new fire station and got a brand new ladder truck. So with some other people in our neighborhood Carson and I went to check it out while the girls were in school.
One of the firefighters got in their gear to show the kids that firefighters may look a little scary when they come to a fire but they're really not scary and if they are in a house that's on fire they should not hide from them but go to them or have the firefighter come to them by yelling. So they got to give her a high five and shake her hand.
Then they showed us the fire truck. The ladder that they have goes 150 feet in the air and one of them climbed it. It was REALLY high!
There was a bell on the front of the truck and a fireman let Carson push the button to ring the bell. He loved that! We had a ton of fun but then when it was over all Carson wanted to do was go to the store and get a treat. That's his favorite thing to do.
