Well this past weekend we went camping in the freezing cold! We went up by Monte Cristo to Mount McKinnon and by the time we got there it was already dark and we think it had rained before we got there. So Curt was trying to level a spot and set up the tent by moonlight and a little bit of flashlight. Our friends had a camper and a motor home (the dad and son tented it also) so we were the whole family tenting it! We froze the first night but then our friends let us borrow a couple more sleeping bags for the next night and we were just right. We had a fire going I think 24/7 for two full days! Needless to say we were glad that our friend brought a small chainsaw. Curt brought his motorcycles and our friends brought their 4-wheelers and we had a great time but I can say it was a great moment when we got home and were able to take a shower. But I do have to say it was a lot hotter down here then up there when we were bundled up the entire time!
