For the 4th of July we were lucky that the Mower's let us all borrow their condo up at Bear Lake. It was so much fun to be together. We got to go to Minnetonka Cave and then we decided to go to Bloomington Lake which is a lake created by a glacier. It's the coolest place. We went there last year with the Crabtree's for our first time. They have a rope swing and Kaylee got to do it. Shelby didn't go with us that year but she did get to experience it this year. The lake is so cool. It's green water but you can completely see through it. It's crystal clear as you can see in the pictures below. We all did the rope swing (except for Carson and Austin) but unfortunately I got a little injured and had a huge bruise later that day from the knot at the bottom of it. But I was glad I went.
After they did the rope swing Curt and Brian and Shelby went over to those cliffs and did some cliff diving. Kaylee was sad that she couldn't go but they thought it would be too difficult for her to swim over to where you needed to be. Shelby had a BLAST!!!
Then the next day the boys, Steve, Curt and Brian, went four-wheeling up to the ice cave while the girls and the children played in the pool. I've never been there but they had a great time. Some of the pictures are a little dark but hopefully you can see the ice in them. Remember...this is July and there's still ice in the cave!
We did go to Bear Lake and play on the beach but we forgot to take pictures that day! We had so much fun! Thanks everyone for playing with us!!!
