Okay...yes, I know it's been quite awhile since we last posted anything but what a month it has been. Curt's been so busy working on his senior project for school and has had the camera with him at all times but this past Tuesday after his project was done they had a family night so that the families of the students could see what their loved ones had ditched them for for a whole year! It was really quite impressive that they were able to accomplish this amazing feat. What they built was a seat belt convincer to convince grade school kids of the importance of seat belts even when you are going only about 3 to 7 mph. The convincer was built and funded by the Utah Highway Patrol and they had to turn it over to them when they were done. Anyway...these are some of the pictures of us at the family night.

Shelby was quite excited. She couldn't wait until it was her turn to go. In fact when they were going to let them ride she was the first one up there. She had a great time and wanted to keep going and going, just like a rollercoaster.

Kaylee on the other hand was not so optimistic. She thought it was going to be scary and you can see it on her face before she even rode it. Needless to say, she did not want to go again but we made her do it just one more time for the experience. She wasn't happy with

us!

Carson was happy his time around. He thought it was going to be like the bumper cars at Lagoon. So his first picture is of excitement and anticipation but after he experienced what it was like he didn't want to go again...but as with Kaylee we made him do it one more time so he understood why we needed to wear seatbelts.

Grandma and Grandpa Nye even got in on the act. It made a BIG impression on them both!

It was a very fun night for everyone and we all enjoyed ourselves but most of all we felt a great sense of pride for Curt and all those that worked with him to make such an impressive project for graduation!
