CURT'S GRADUATION
First of all Curt graduated from WSU on May 2 of this year. What a happy, happy day that was for our family. We have missed him tremendously especially after the last year while he was working on his senior project but they did an awesome job on it. Doesn't he look handsome in his cap and gown? We are so proud of him!
After the commencement Carson was running around the chairs in the Dee Events Center and tripped and hit his chin on the chair in front of him and it skinned his chin up pretty good. So Grandpa had to take him out to get a band-aid. Isn't it nice? (Okay, I couldn't figure out how to flip this picture so this is what you get...sorry!)
Then after the long day he just crashed on the way home. We had to take a picture because honestly...does that really look comfortable? He sleeps like that all the time when he is in the car. We don't know how he does it!
KAYLEE'S KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION
Well on May 21, 2008 Kaylee graduated from Kindergarten. It was a great day for her and we had a lot of fun as well.
Well on May 21, 2008 Kaylee graduated from Kindergarten. It was a great day for her and we had a lot of fun as well.
They sang songs and did their talents for us. Kaylee played a song on the piano that Shelby taught her way back during Christmas and we've heard it ever since. It's "Jolly Ol' Saint Nicholas". I've never heard that song so much in my life! But we were very proud of her.
Here is one of the songs that they sang for us and it cracks me up. I just think she's so stinking cute. Also they sang some song about animals in a zoo and right out loud (because he's never really quiet) Carson says, "Whoa, this song's weird!" Curt laughed so hard that tears were coming out of his eyes. I think I was laughing more at him than at what Carson had said!
Shelby's Softball
Well Shelby has decided to play softball again which both Curt and I were very happy about because she does such a great job at it. She really has a knack for it. Here are some pictures of her first game. It was quite cold that day but if you notice she hits the ball when she is up to bat. I can't believe that I got that on the camera. I was so proud of myself. I'm normally not that quick with the camera. She also has a lightening arm but we have to help her learn how to to control it and do it with a little more accuracy (and possibly slow it down so that her teammates can catch it!) At her game this past Friday she was playing short stop and the ball came to her and she threw it all the way to 1st base but unfortunately the girl couldn't catch it. But I was amazed that she could throw it that far and that fast. We're really proud of her (but we would be proud even if she wasn't as good as she is)
Well that's about all that has happened for our family lately. Hope you enjoyed all that we've been up to and I will TRY to keep you all updated as soon as things happen (but no promises!)
