Today, Sunday January 11th, 2009 we blessed our little angel (and sometimes devil)! We've waited for awhile to do this because we don't take him out too much because we don't want him to get sick. Anyway, this morning when we went to get him dressed I had to get the shoes that Carson wore for his blessing day and noticed that we picked out the exact same blessing outfit for Austin that we had for Carson. I guess I like what I like regardless of how many years go by!
He was REALLY good for the blessing. I prayed that he wouldn't cry through it because of late he's been really hard due to gas problems and colic but my prayers were answered but we didn't make it through the meeting. He started fussing during the sacrament and we had to go out in the foyer. I hate to wish my children's lives away but I truly can't wait for that magic 3 month, 3 1/2 month mark when they usually grow out of the colic and become my sweet little babies (and sleep!)
After the meeting we had our family and friends join us for lunch and some great conversation along with pictures. Here are just a few of what we took. Doesn't he look cute!

That baby is an angel! He is such a cutie-- especially all dressed up like that! =)
Austin he is a sweet little baby and so like mom and dad he is very photogenic. I love that I took some of the ones you posted. But I think even Carson could of taken them and they would of looked great. None of you (the Nye,Curt family) can take a bad picture. I love it. Love you guys very much.
He is so cute. I hope all is well and that his colic will go away. if you need anything let me know. We need to do another girl night.
