Kaylee's 10th Birthday Party

Though we were in St. George for Kaylee's actual birthday this was a birthday party year for her.  So we decided to have a party the Saturday after her birthday.  Since she got a "little girl" for her birthday we decided to give her a tea party birthday party where the girls get to bring their "little girls" for the party as well.  So when they first arrived they went to the "salon" to do their "little girls'" hair.  They had so much fun doing this that I had to pull them away for their next activity.
The Salon
Then the girls got to make purses for their dolls.  Some of them really had a good time with the fabric paint!
Then we played a few games; a sugar cube relay race, musical tea pots (chairs) and then a race to see who could undress and then dress their dolls the fastest.
Then it was time for "tea".
We had little sandwiches, cookies and wafer cookies and of course lemonade "tea" and Raspberry "tea".  We also used some real china that we had downstairs and the girls loved it.
We went over proper etiquette on how to ask politely for things and to please pass whatever it is you wanted.  They even lifted their pinkies when they were drinking their "tea".  It was so fun to see.
Here is Kaylee with her cake before the party.
If you can't tell...it's a tea pot.
She blew them all out!
Here is Kaylee's friend Hannah eating a HUGE bite of cake.  She is so quiet but at times she makes me laugh...moments like these!
Then it was time for presents.  Here is Reagan...
...and Callie...

...and Corrine (and Callie)...

...and Hannah (and Callie).
Here is another one of those moments that made me laugh!
...and our neighbor Mikayla...
...and Elisa.
After presents they got to make a bracelet for their dolls to keep.
Here are the thank you gifts from the party.  I found porcelain tea sets for all the girls.  It was so much fun and probably the easiest party I've ever thrown.  They basically were entertained with their dolls and I didn't have to do too much!
Happy Birthday Kaylee!!
