On October 17th, 2012 Austin got to go to the Fire Department for his pre-school field trip. The day before they had talked about stop, drop and roll and different fire safety tips. That's why he's wearing his "fire helmet". Doesn't he look cute? They got to talk to the firemen and his teacher dressed up in their gear so they could understand that firemen aren't scary. They also got to get into the ambulances and fire trucks to see what they look like on the inside. He had so much fun and now whenever he sees a fire truck he says, "That's my fire truck," since he got to get in them.
