Pioneer Day 2008
On Thursday July 24th, Pioneer Day, we had a great day at Grandma Nye's house. She borrowed some blow up water slides from Aunt Lynette and the kids had a riot on them! We had lunch and the kids played all day. We were going to play pioneer games but we couldn't get the kids out of the water long enough to play them. We also made homemade ice cream and enjoyed the day as a family. It was great fun had by all! Unfortunately we didn't stay up to watch fireworks because it was a school night and the girls had to get up for school but I really don't think they were upset about that because they were all plain tuckered out from playing in the water and sun ALL DAY LONG!

That was a fun Day! The kids were having fun and the adults actually got to sit and visit and relax! I think the only thing that suffered was Grandpa's lawn and hey grass grows back! Love you all thanks for sharing the day with us.
