In the last week we have done some pretty fun stuff since it was the week before school started for Shelby (5th grade) and Kaylee (1st grade). They were excited but nervous and Kaylee I think moreso since she now stays there all day and gets to eat lunch and have three whole recesses! Carson was wondering why he didn't get to start school and we had to explain that his pre-school will start after Labor Day.
So last Tuesday, July 15th we went with Grandma Nye to This is the Place Monument Park. It was our first time there and I have to say it was very fun.

Then on Friday we went again with Grandma Nye swimming at Brian and Dana's pool. Thanks for letting us use that, by the way! We had a ton of fun!

That all looks like so much fun! We're glad you got some use out of the pool. The summer's waning, and Brian & I have hardly used it! Sad. Good luck with the first week of school!

What fun days!!! I loved the this is the place park too Kirsten it was so kid friendly. We travel all over to see church history and there was so much there. I am so happy we went.
